Australia’s appetite for literary festivals
knows no bounds. In 1962 we had just one in Adelaide - now it’s suggested there
are over 100 around the country. In my view there is a real desire in our
community to get together to discuss ideas, talk about books, exchange opinions

that. If you haven’t been to one yet, I urge you seek out a festival near you
and give it a try. They are very inspiring and lots of fun.

contribute to a range of literary festivals in Australia and Asia as a panel
moderator, participant and interviewer. Each festival has its own style and
flavour, all providing incredible insights to a wide variety of authors.
